Awa Deconstructed Trench Coat

A collaboration with Irthi Contemporary Craft Council to create a collection with Bidwa's artisan who wove UAE traditional Talli which is used throughout "Inheritance" the collection. Talli; an indigenous craft from the UAE in which a kind of braid is woven by hand.

The AWA Coat is an oversized de-constructed tailored trench coat. The front is double-breasted button closure, and the back is deconstructed with a bias cut flow fabric with a custom print. Talli straps made in faux leather runs down the sides of the coat.
